The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, December 1 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will argue about Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Also coming up, Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) family will be stunned by his plan to counteract Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Plus, Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will lord it over Cane, when he makes them an offer.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will remain worried, as he hasn’t heard anything from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will offer to fly out to LA, but the doorbell will ring. He’ll open the door and Cane will be standing there.
“So what do you want Cane?” Victor will ask. He’ll say he’s there to admit defeat. “You won Victor.” Adam will say they’ve made it clear they don’t have his software. Cane will tell him to stop denying it. He knows it was Victor. But he also wants to offer him a deal.

“I’ll give you everything, my entire empire,” Cane will offer. Adam will say they could just wait for Arabesque to die. Victor will say he’s not interested in picking the bones of Arabesque. “It’s judgement day for you,” he’ll add. “Instead of rescuing you, I’ll let you twist in the wind, until you reach your inevitable end.”
At the GCAC restaurant, Lily will have another one way phone conversation, this time with her (offscreen) son. Then Phyllis will come down and they’ll glare at each other. Phyllis will say she was just speaking with her son and she’ll accuse Lily of pitting her own kids against Cane. Lily will say it’s none of her business.
“I’m onto your game Lily, you’re dangling a carrot in front of Cane,” Phyllis will tell her. “He apologizes and every time he comes close you pull the rug out from under him.” Lily will say she has no idea what she’s talking about. “How many times does he have to get down on his knees to beg for your forgiveness?” Phyllis will ask.
But Lily will say Cane made his bed. “That’s your dream isn’t it, to have Cane turn to the dark side permanently and take over the world,” she’ll tell Phyllis. “The good part of Cane would want nothing to do with you.” Then Phyllis will accuse Lily of manipulating Cane, just as he walks in.
He’ll tell Phyllis no one manipulates him and he’ll ask why they’re fighting over him. “I really thought you sunk to a new low with the whole Dumas thing,” Lily will reply. “But attaching yourself to someone like her, that is scraping the bottom of the barrel.” The women will continue to argue, until Cane shouts: “Enough!”
Lily will say that’s great, she’s had enough. “If you’re not careful,” she’ll add, pointing at Phyllis. “She’ll be your downfall.” After Lily storms off, an angry Cane will ask Phyllis why she’s always causing trouble.” She’ll tell him, yet again, to pick a side. “I have picked a side,” he’ll reply. “I know where I’m going.” But whose side will he choose?

Meanwhile, Jack will tell his sisters about Cane’s AI program that can take down any company from the inside. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will ask if he’s using it to come after Jabot. Jack will say it’s been stolen and he’s sure The Mustache is coming after Jabot.
Ashley will offer to talk to Victor but Jack will tell her it wouldn’t do any good. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will say they’ve all been looking down Victor’s barrel, it’s time to take a pot shot and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will agree. But Jack will say it’s not. He has a plan but isn’t sure they’re going to like it.
Victor hasn’t used the AI yet, so the timing isn’t right. He’ll guess Victor will make his move during the Abbott Communications launch. “Victor sees that as letting our guard down,” Jack will add. “To take down what he really wants, Jabot.” So, he’ll suggest they strike first. “The only way we stop this from getting in our system is to shut everything down.”
Ashley will ask how the company could function without being online. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will say if they do it, the first quarter of next year would be a disaster. But Jack will point out at least they’d have control of their own environment. Then he’ll suggest they’d need to shut down for three months.
Finally, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will ask what Jack thinks their father would do. She’ll add the long term effects of shutting everything down would be devastating. “Are you sure there’s no other way?” Ashley will ask. But no one can think of a better idea. So, will they agree with Jack’s plan to shut down Jabot? Stay tuned!
